Sr IT Representative (Networks)

Job Description

Overview The IT Infrastructure team member ( Networks ) will work with the global team to continually implement, maintain and troubleshoot the IT networks across Lutron sites globally. You would be a part of the core team, collaborate across sites and locations to utilize the best practices, techniques and technology to maintain and upgrade the Lutron network systems. Responsibilities Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, performing routine backups, and applying software updates Diagnosing network connectivity problems, analyzing network traffic, and resolving user-related network issues Implementing network security protocols, managing user access controls, and monitoring for potential security threats Maintaining detailed network documentation including network topology, device configurations, and troubleshooting procedures Providing technical assistance to end users and/or user support teams on network connectivity and troubleshooting basic issues. Stay aligned to Lutrons culture and values Preferred candidate profile Minimum 3-year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with a 60% and above, or a 4-year degree in engineering/technology 2 years experience in core IT networking Knowledge of network systems and protocols Experience in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls Knowledge of cloud networking concepts Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Network+ would be a strong plus Strong problem-solving and strong written and communication skills Strong service mind-set Keen eye for details A proactive attitude to process improvements and best practice solutions Strong problem-solving and strong written and communication skills
