Job Summary:

Senior Golang Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement secure coding practices and ensure system robustness.
Write clean, well-documented, and unit-tested code.
Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and maintaining coding standards.
Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging queues, and external services.
Contribute to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and monitoring strategies.
Stay up to date with the latest Golang frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

4+ years of backend development experience, with at least 3 years of experience in Golang.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Knowledge of testing frameworks and TDD.
Strong understanding of performance optimization and system design.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with gRPC, GraphQL, or WebSockets.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Contributions to open-source Golang projects or active GitHub profile.
