Job Description

Job Title: Senior Golang Backend Developer

Experience Required: 7+ Years

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Architect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.

Requirements

7+ years of backend development experience, with at least 5+ years in Golang.
Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in Golang.
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API development.
Proficiency in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) is a plus.
Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to lead technical discussions.

Good to Have

Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
Knowledge of event-driven systems.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
