Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team.
  • This role involves selling our innovative B2B SaaS software solutions to schools and educational institutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B software sales and experience working with educational clients.
  • You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, conducting sales presentations, and closing deals to help expand our presence in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target potential clients within the education sector, including schools, colleges, and universities.
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

  • Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of educational institutions.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our SaaS solutions and how they address the challenges faced by schools.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to key decision-makers.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders in the education sector.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of educational institutions and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and advice on how to leverage our software effectively.

Sales Cycle Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of service with clients.
  • Ensure a smooth handover to the customer success team for onboarding and implementation.

Sales Targets and Reporting:

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM software.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the sales manager on sales performance and market feedback.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments in the education sector.
  • Gather and report insights on client needs, potential product enhancements, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B software sales, with a preference for experience selling to educational institutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Knowledge of the education sector and its unique challenges and needs is highly desirable.
