Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager - (Financial Reporting & Audits)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, including consolidated statements, ensuring compliance with Ind. AS and regulatory requirements.
• Draft detailed notes to accounts and accompanying reports for annual financial statements.
• Ensure the timely preparation, consolidation, and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results.
• Develop standalone and consolidated annual accounts and reports.
• Analyse financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations for decision-making.

Taxation:

• Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws, including GST, Income Tax, and TDS.
• Oversee foreign payments in adherence to the Income Tax Act, rules, and applicable DTAA provisions.
• Prepare advance tax computations and ensure timely payments.
• Manage tax audits, coordinate with tax authorities, and handle assessments and resolutions.
• Supervise the preparation and filing of accurate tax returns within stipulated timelines.
• Handle tax litigation, including drafting replies to scrutiny notices and managing assessment proceedings.
• Prepare documentation for Transfer Pricing audits, assessments, and related compliance.
• Draft and manage documentation for Income Tax and GST appeals.

FOREX Management:

• Oversee the compliance of outward and inward forex remittances in line with FEMA and RBI guidelines.
• Monitor foreign exchange transactions and manage currency risks effectively.
• Evaluate and execute hedging strategies to mitigate forex risks.
• Ensure compliance with FEMA and RBI regulations for all forex operations.
• Ensure forex outward and inward remittance in compliance with FEMA and RBI regulations.
• Report risk exposures in financial statements and prepare Unhedged Foreign Currency Exposure (UFCE) statements.

Audit and Compliance:

• Coordinate internal and statutory audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Maintain strict adherence to internal controls and accounting standards across all financial processes.
• Address and resolve any differences of opinion with the audit team during the audit process.
• Ensure engagement letters and Management Representation Letters (MRLs) adhere to the applicable reporting frameworks.
• Verify that auditors' reports comply with the Standards on Auditing (SAs) issued by ICAI.
• Prepare and compile comprehensive reports and documentation to support audit requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances and provide insights to optimize costs

• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Foster collaboration and maintain high standards of performance

Education and Certifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA)/CMA qualification is mandatory.

Experience:

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Ind.AS & IFRS and Standard on auditing, Taxation laws, and FOREX management.
• Experience in cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Familiarity with financial modelling and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations.

Technical / Functional Expertise & other competencies:

• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
