Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate project-wise cost records and ensure timely posting of cost adjustment entries in SAP/ERP systems.
Monitor project budgets in collaboration with the planning and project management teams.
Track actual costs against budgets and perform variance analysis with actionable insights.
Review and validate cost elements such as materials, labour, subcontractor charges, and overheads.
Assist in preparing periodic cost reports and dashboards for management review.
Coordinate with procurement and project execution teams to verify cost commitments, GRNs, and accruals.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and promptly flag deviations from approved budgets.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and established standard costing practices.
Support internal and external project audits with appropriate cost documentation.
Collaborate with the finance team on project profitability analysis and Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
