Help identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for indirect materials and services.
Create, process, and track purchase orders (POs), following up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Assist in negotiating with suppliers for better rates and terms, building positive relationships.
Support the analysis of market trends and pricing for indirect spend to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Maintain accurate procurement records, ensure compliance with purchasing procedures, and handle payment-related queries.
Work with other departments to understand their needs for indirect items and services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, track orders, and maintain detailed records.
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
Understanding of purchasing principles, negotiation techniques, and indirect procurement concepts.
