Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To ensure effective implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies, drive compliance with statutory requirements, and foster a safe workplace culture across operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Implement and monitor HSE policies, standards, and procedures at site/plant.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (Factories Act, Pollution Control Board, Fire & Safety norms, etc.).
Drive safety training, awareness programs, and toolbox talks for employees and contract workers.
Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures.
Maintain and update all HSE records, documentation, and MIS reports.
Coordinate with external agencies, government bodies, and internal stakeholders for HSE compliance and initiatives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environment practices.

Bachelors degree in Science/Engineering with Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc. preferred).
4–7 years of relevant experience in HSE, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or building materials industry.
Strong knowledge of statutory requirements and safety management systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
Excellent communication, training, and coordination skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving safety culture across teams.
