Sr Executive (Fabric Sourcing)

As an Executive / Senior Executive in the Fabric Sourcing-Knits department at Arekere, Bangalore, your primary role will involve day-to-day follow-up and execution of work as per the order. Additionally, you will be responsible for initiating research and development of new fabrics, analyzing their density, types of dyes, printing, etc., based on the swatches provided, and passing on the information to designers for garment development. Your key responsibilities will include: - Visiting manufacturing units to address fabric-related issues - Quoting prices and arranging bulk fabric production based on fabric analysis - Troubleshooting production problems such as shrinkage percentage and color variation - Efficiently managing resources and arranging fabrics for extra consumption or in case of rejections - Meeting cut dates as per production planning - Interacting with QA for quality checks and ensuring compliance with requirements - Strategizing innovative ideas to simplify processes and enhance efficiency - Generating MIS reports and sharing them with relevant departments - Possessing knowledge of testing and inspection processes For any queries, the company contact person is Ramkumar Varadarajan (ramkumar.varadarajan@shahi.co.in).,
