Sr. Executive Engineer - Design (Automotive Industry)

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D & 2D CAD Development:

  Develop 2D and 3D models of new products and parts using CATIA V5, in compliance with customer specifications.
• Product Design: Collaborate on the conceptual design and proposal of new automotive lighting products.

• Engineering Change Management:

  Prepare and implement engineering changes as per the approved change notes.

• Quality Interaction:

  Liaise with the quality and testing departments for part inspections and approvals.

• BOM Preparation:

  Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and material Specifications for new products.

• Project Coordination:

  Assist in preliminary project planning, coordination, and tracking of design activities.

• Customer Interaction:

  Engage with customers for drawing approvals and technical discussions.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:

  B.E in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in CATIA V5 (Plastic Domain preferred).

• Experience:

  3-6 years of experience in the Design of Plastic Automotive Lighting Systems.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficient in CATIA V5, plastic Injection Molding, 3D modeling, DFMEA, BOM preparation, and engineering change management.

• Communication Skills:

  Strong communication skills in English, Marathi, and Hindi.

• Software Proficiency:

  Expertise in CATIA V5 is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in APQP Homologation tests on lighting parts.
• Familiarity with

  GD&T

  and

  Plastic Tooling

  and assembly.
