Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRE, responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for nuclear applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design engineering with 5-10 years of experience.

Roles and Responsibility

Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for nuclear applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex mechanical design problems.
Conduct thorough analysis and testing of mechanical designs to ensure safety and reliability.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the nuclear industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, codes, and standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
Familiarity with CAD software and other design tools is an asset.
