Job Summary:

Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager Sales (Cattle Feed)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

  • Achieve sales targets for cattle feed products within the assigned region.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with farmers, dairy farms, and distributors.
  • Expand the dealer and distributor network to increase market reach.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and promotional campaigns.

2. Market Research & Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Gather feedback from customers to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Provide insights on market demand and pricing strategies to management.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and end-users.
  • Provide technical support and product guidance to farmers and dairy businesses.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain sales records, reports, and forecasts for management review.
  • Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics team to ensure timely delivery.

5. Training & Development:

  • Educate farmers and distributors about cattle nutrition, feeding practices, and product benefits.
  • Conduct training programs for sales teams and channel partners.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in sales of cattle feed, animal nutrition, or agro-products.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of cattle nutrition and feeding practices.
  • Experience in rural sales and distribution management.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic sales plans.

Work Location & Reporting:

  • The role may require extensive travel within assigned territories.
  • Reports to the Regional Sales Manager/Business Head.
