Position : Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager R&D (Analytical) Department : Research & Development Company : Astral Adhesives Limited Location : Ahmedabad - Santej Experience Required : 4-8 years Qualification : M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Chemistry or related field About the Role: Astral Adhesives is looking for a technically strong and proactive Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager Analytical R&D to manage instrumental analysis and support equipment procurement decisions . This position is ideal for candidates experienced in analytical method development , instrument calibration , and analytical data interpretation . Candidates from the Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL) of the pharma industry will be preferred first . Key Responsibilities: Analytical Instrumentation & Testing: Operate and manage advanced instruments such as HPLC , GC , and KF titrator . Conduct analysis of adhesives, raw materials, intermediates, and final products. Develop, validate, and document analytical methods for product quality evaluation. Instrument Calibration & Maintenance: Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance of lab equipment. Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and liaise with service vendors for repairs. Technical Purchase Support: Collaborate with the purchase team to provide technical input for the selection of new instruments and laboratory equipment. Assist in preparing technical specifications , evaluation reports, and vendor assessments. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain SOPs , calibration logs, analytical reports, and instrument records. Ensure compliance with ISO standards , internal quality protocols , and audit requirements . Team Support & Coordination: Support formulation and QA/QC teams with analytical insights. Train junior staff on safe and effective use of instruments and analytical procedures. Preferred Candidate Profile: Strong working knowledge of HPLC, GC, and KF Good understanding of analytical chemistry and method validation Background in pharma ADL (Analytical Development Lab) will be highly preferred Ability to communicate technical findings and collaborate across departments Qualifications: M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Chemistry 4-8 years of experience in analytical R&D or ADL , preferably from the pharma or adhesives/chemical industry Apply Now: Send your updated resume to ramesh.chaudhary@astralltd.com or contact via WhatsApp at 8353912032
