Job Description

Role

Execute Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering for compressors, compressor systems, and packaged units as per customer requirements.
Provide technical support to cross-functional teams to meet company objectives.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, communication protocols, and control systems.
Support new developments related to Electrical & Instrumentation for compressors.
Prepare engineering documents, specifications, and drawings using AutoCAD, ERP, and SAP.
Develop specification documents and control system/instrumentation drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed Electrical & Instrumentation engineering and proposal engineering for design and project applications.
Prepare specifications for E&I components such as motors, starter-cum-control panels, instruments, cable selection, etc., for safe and hazardous areas.
Standardize E&I components, create database, develop control schematics, evaluate external offers and drawings.
Conduct inspections at supplier locations as required.
Provide technical support to shop floor and sales teams for proposals and project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Graduate in Engineering from a reputed institute.
3- 8 years of experience in rotating machinery industry.
Fluency in English; knowledge of German is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Excel is essential.
Familiarity with 3D working environments is preferred.
