Sr. Engineer/Dy. Manager - EHS

Roles and Responsibility:

• Work closely with the Contractors to ensure adherence to statutory safety requirements by all contract labour; Conduct periodic workshops at project sites to spread HSE awareness.
• Ensure effective dissemination of information pertaining to risk free work practices; Identify potential risk and accident areas and ensure proper display of the same at all sites.
• Work closely with all Internal Departments to conduct mandatory safety committee meetings on a regular basis
• Oversee fact-finding investigations in case of accidents and advise project heads on remedial action plans
• Review and analyze accident investigation reports and monthly statistical reports; Recommend action plans to the projects team to prevent recurrence of such accidents.
• Liaise with the Administration Department to ensure maintenance and upkeep of safety related equipment as per safety norms on a regular basis.
• Review and ensure timely preparation of inspection reports as per approved inspection and test plans
• Drive the maintenance of a database of all HSE notifications, inspection documents, certifications and other related documentation; Ensure timely submission of all statutory documents to the concerned authorities
• Ensure zero accidents in the project sites.
• Educate all the contractors on safety precautions & conduct Toll Box talks regularly for all the laborer's & contractor staff.
• Ensure all the documentation related to safety is maintained & updated.
  

What are we looking for?(Specific Skill Set)

• Knowledge of various HSE statutory requirements, systems.
• Knowledge of quality certifications such as ISO 14001, OHS AS 14001 etc.
• Knowledge of the Real Estate and Construction industry.
• Should be able to conduct safety audits & provide observations & recommendations to the project heads & EHS Head.
  

Qualifications

• BE & Diploma in Safety with 6+ Years of experience in Construction sector.
• Experience in handling Internal & external safety, ISO, OSHAS audits
