Sr. Engineer (Civil - switchyard and substation)

Responsible for execution, supervision, and quality control of all civil works in switchyard and substation projects (33kV–400kV). Ensures timely completion, resource management, and coordination with electrical and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise civil works: equipment foundations, transformer/GIS plinths, control room building, cable trenches, gantry/tower foundations, boundary wall, and general site development.
• Review drawings, ensure adherence to IS Codes, utility standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor excavation, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, and overall workmanship.
• Coordinate with electrical teams, contractors, and vendors for smooth progress.
• Maintain daily progress reports, WIR/MIR, quality documentation, and measurement books.
• Ensure safety compliance, conduct toolbox talks, and oversee PPE usage.
• Manage materials, track BOQ consumption, and support billing/RA measurement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 3-6 years experience in switchyard and substation civil works.
• Strong knowledge of foundation works, control room structures, and electrical–civil interface.
• Good communication, leadership, and contractor handling skills.
