Job Description – Electrical Electrician

Position: Electrician (2)
Department: Maintenance – Electrical
Location: Gandhidham / Gujarat
Reporting To: Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Head

Qualification:

• ITI (Electrician) or equivalent technical diploma

Experience:

• 2 to 5 Years of experience in industrial, refinery, or manufacturing plant maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform operation and maintenance of electrical systems, panels, and motors.
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment, switchgear, and lighting systems.
• Assist during plant shutdowns, ensuring smooth isolation and reconnection activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair control circuits, MCC, and power distribution systems.
• Support installation and commissioning of new electrical machines and equipment.
• Maintain daily logbooks and report deviations or faults to the supervisor.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety procedures and use of PPE while working on live or high-voltage systems.
• Coordinate with production and instrumentation teams for joint maintenance tasks.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, contactors, relays, MCC, VFDs, and transformers
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and circuit drawings
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding ability under minimal supervision
