Sr. Electrical Electrician

As an Electrician at the Maintenance Electrical department in Gandhidham, Gujarat, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems within an industrial, refinery, or manufacturing plant environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing operation and maintenance of electrical systems, panels, and motors. - Conducting preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment, switchgear, and lighting systems. - Assisting during plant shutdowns to ensure seamless isolation and reconnection activities. - Troubleshooting and repairing control circuits, MCC, and power distribution systems. - Supporting the installation and commissioning of new electrical machines and equipment. - Maintaining daily logbooks and promptly reporting deviations or faults to the supervisor. - Ensuring 100% compliance with safety procedures and the use of PPE while working on live or high-voltage systems. - Coordinating with production and instrumentation teams for joint maintenance tasks. Qualifications Required: - ITI (Electrician) or equivalent technical diploma Experience: - 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial, refinery, or manufacturing plant maintenance Skills Required: - Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, contactors, relays, MCC, VFDs, and transformers - Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and circuit drawings - Troubleshooting and fault-finding ability under minimal supervision This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.
