Job Description

Purpose We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) implementation. The candidate should bring proven expertise in SAM lifecycle management, along with solid experience in ITSM and ServiceNow platform development.

Roles and Responsibility

Lead and deliver SAM Pro implementations including license compliance, software lifecycle management, normalization, reconciliation, and optimization.
Configure and maintain SAM-related integrations with discovery tools and external systems.
Develop and customize workflows, business rules, and automation to support SAM processes.
Support ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and implement solutions.
Ensure platform governance, security, and best practices are followed.
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ensure smooth upgrades/patching of SAM and ITSM modules
3-7 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
Primary expertise: Hands-on experience in SAM Pro implementation (Software Asset Lifecycle, License Compliance, Normalization, Reconciliation, Optimization).
Strong working knowledge of ITSM processes and their ServiceNow configurations.
Proficiency in ServiceNow development: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Catalog Items, Flow Designer, etc.
Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third-party tools).
Good understanding of CMDB, ACLs, and ServiceNow platform administration.
Knowledge of HAM, Discovery, or CSDM is an advantage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently and in agile teams.
