Sr. Desktop Engineer

As a Senior Desktop Support Engineer at our company located in CBD Belapur (Navi Mumbai), you will be responsible for providing technical support for IT hardware and software environments. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, maintaining network connectivity, supporting audio-video conferencing systems, monitoring IT equipment, assisting end-users, and providing training when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve issues on desktops, laptops, and MacBooks. - Perform installations, upgrades, and maintenance of operating systems and applications. - Manage and troubleshoot Access Points and Switches to ensure optimal network performance. - Set up and maintain audio-video conferencing systems and provide real-time support during meetings. - Conduct regular checks on IT equipment, maintain an inventory of IT assets, and ensure compliance with company policies. - Assist end-users with technical queries, provide training, and document common issues and solutions for future reference. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field preferred. - Experience: 24 years in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and other operating systems. - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, network devices, and software applications. - Familiarity with network configurations and device management (Access Points, Switches). - Experience with audio-video conferencing tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
