Job Description

Job Title:

Design and develop
thermoplastic injection moulds
(Hot Runner & Cold Runner).
Design
thermoset injection moulds, compression moulds, and transfer moulds
.
Create
2D drawings and 3D models
using CAD tools such as
Siemens NX, CREO, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
.
Interpret and apply
GD&T principles
as per engineering standards.
Analyze part designs for
manufacturability
and suggest design improvements when required.
Prepare and maintain
mould design documentation
, including BOM, drawings, and revision records.
Coordinate with
tooling engineers, machinists, and production teams
during mould manufacturing and trials.
Support
mould trials, debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
.
Perform
mould flow analysis and thermal simulations
to optimize part quality and cycle time.
Ensure mould designs comply with
safety, dimensional accuracy, and performance standards
.
Possess good knowledge of
materials, machining processes, and mould manufacturing methods
.
Understand
mould maintenance and repair practices
.
