Sr. Design Engineer (NPD)

· Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.

· Planning and executing part designs using design NX software.

· Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing.

· Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics.

· Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.

· Liaising with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.

· Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.

· Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards

· Consult with concern teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required

· Attend weekly team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleagues’ progress, strategize on steps for following week and acquire information about projected emerging product lines

· Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis

· Create designs in line with company procedure, regulations and client standards

· Submit drawings to concern department

· Use customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve the company's existing drawing.

· ECN control & Drawing distribution.

· Maintain all system related documents. Like APQP, CP, PFMEA etc.
· Determines the process for creating a new item

· Gathers the raw materials necessary to build or create the product being developed

· Define APQP and update on time to time.

· Coordinate with all concern department and define PFD.

· Prepares reports on the various procedures that have been tried in order to eliminate methods that are unsuccessful

· Oversees product development amongst a team of individuals

· Prepares a cost analysis on the development of a new product

· Ensures that every phase of a particular project proceeds as scheduled

· Makes adjustments to a development plan whenever the current idea is not working well

· Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.

· Maintain all system related documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
