Company Description: Elemment Facade Private Limited (EFPL) serves as the dedicated design hub for Elemment Canada. With expertise in facade and fenestration design, we deliver precision-engineered, cutting-edge solutions tailored specifically for complex building envelope projects worldwide. Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Autodesk Inventor Specialist, highly proficient in facade and fenestration engineering, specifically skilled in iLogic, iCopy, and Frame Generator modules. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Infopark, Koratty office. The successful candidate will lead and execute sophisticated design and drafting tasks, integrating automation, parametric modelling, and efficient fabrication solutions, ensuring adherence to rigorous industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the senior technical expert for facade engineering, fenestration detailing, and fabrication design within EFPL. Develop advanced parametric models using Autodesk Inventor, leveraging the capabilities of iLogic, iCopy, and Frame Generator to optimise workflows and enhance efficiency. Create precise, detailed facade fabrication drawings derived from complex AutoCAD drawings and project specifications. Implement automation scripts and customised ilogic in Inventor to standardise and expedite repetitive design tasks. Utilise Frame Generator extensively for structural framing and optimised facade support systems. Engage closely with project stakeholders to interpret requirements, resolve design challenges, and verify technical specifications. Prepare detailed and accurate material take-offs covering extrusions, glazing elements, sheet metal, and accessories. Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential production and assembly issues, suggesting innovative, practical solutions. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, mentoring junior designers and engineers in best practices for facade and fenestration modelling. Regularly conduct comprehensive quality checks on designs, drawings, and models, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with established processes. Maintain meticulous and organised archives of 3D models, drawings, and design documentation. Clearly and professionally communicate, both written and verbally, consistently documenting discussions through summarised correspondence. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline. Extensive hands-on expertise in Autodesk Inventor, particularly advanced proficiency in iLogic, iCopy, and Frame Generator. In-depth knowledge and practical experience in facade and fenestration engineering principles, standards, and fabrication methodologies. Robust understanding of Autodesk AutoCAD. Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering challenges with meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills. Significant prior experience within facade, fenestration, or the broader construction industry. Join EFPL to apply your deep industry expertise in facade and fenestration design, helping us redefine engineering standards and deliver exceptional facade solutions globally. Show more Show less
