Job Responsibilities :

.

• To check the engineering calculations and (MDS) prepared by Design Engineers, to ensure that design is technically correct;
• To check Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) Reports, Schedule of Quantities (SOQ), etc. prepared by Design Engineers/ Senior Design Engineers;
• To develop in-house training modules, and train colleagues.
• To interact with other departments and project/client, for Inter-Departmental Checking comments, on MDS and TechSpecs, TBEs, and Vendor documents;
• To develop in-house training modules and train colleagues.
• To check documents like Data Sheet and Material Requisition, prepared by design
• Engineers.
• To Review bidders# offers, to identify lacunae and to prepare Technical Queries (TQs)as part of Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE)
• To Carryout review of Vendors# drawings (VDR) and getting the same reviewed by other
• Engineering departments.
• To develop in-house training modules and train colleagues.

Education Requirement :

• Degree in Mechanical engineering from reputed college or university;

Experience Requirement :

• Minimum experience of 7 years in Engineering Consulting companies, or at least 3 years in Engineering Consulting companies with minimum 4 years in equipment manufacturing/ Chemical plants/ Inspection Agencies;
• Shall be focussed on learning;
• Shall be a good team player

Skills & Competencies :

• Knowledge of engineering standard specifications, and standard designs;
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of AutoCAD / Micro Station will be an added advantage;
• Should possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing practices and associated costs.
• Knowledge of Engineering Standard Specifications

• Shall have very good written and verbal communications skills
