You are vConstruct, a Pune based Construction Technology company, looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst for your Data Science and Analytics team. Your team consists of analysts and engineers supporting all data aspects of the business. **Role Overview:** As a Senior Data Analyst at vConstruct, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to support large-scale construction projects. Your role will involve data analysis, reporting, visualization, and a strong understanding of Construction Project Controls such as Cost, Schedule, Risk, Quality, and Safety. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions (BRD/FRD). - Analyze large, complex datasets related to construction projects (Cost, Schedule, Risk, Quality, Safety, etc.) to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Paginated Reports, and Excel to support project decision-making. - Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports and models. - Optimize and maintain data models and ETL processes in collaboration with data engineering teams. - Support forecasting and predictive analytics for cost overruns, schedule delays, and risk exposure using statistical tools (e.g., Python, R). - Track and report on key project performance indicators (KPIs) and project controls. - Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and reporting standards. **Qualification Required:** - 5+ years of combined experience in data analysis and construction or infrastructure domains. Hands-on experience applying data analytics to construction-related functions is required. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Preferred experience working with US or international clients. **Additional Details:** vConstruct specializes in providing high-quality Building Information Modeling and Construction Technology services for construction projects.
