Sr. Contracts Engineer – Diversity Hiring

Interested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hr@ril.com Main Purpose: To ensure timely and effective procurement of services by applying consistent sourcing methodologies in alignment with defined category strategies. This role requires active involvement in understanding departmental requirements, negotiating with vendors, executing orders, managing post-award contracts, and building strong supplier relationships. Job Accountabilities: Ensure availability of the right services as per operational needs. Coordinate with user departments to confirm that the scope of work in the purchase requisition accurately reflects actual requirements before floating the RFQ. Collaborate with user departments to finalize vendor qualification criteria. Ensure selected vendors meet the defined qualification standards. Ensure timely and accurate availability of services at the required locations. Maintain uninterrupted service support to user departments within the scope of responsibility. Ensure mobilization of vendor resources is completed as per contractual timelines. Develop internal cost estimates for respective category items before initiating negotiations. Actively participate in vendor negotiations to secure optimal rates and value for services. Ensure compliance with all established procurement procedures. Adhere to all PSC norms related to awarding contracts and purchase orders, as detailed in the procurement procedures for NELP I blocks. Respond promptly and effectively to internal and external audit issues related to procurement. Uphold high ethical standards in procurement dealings, in line with corporate values. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with contractors. Coordinate with the Commercial team to ensure timely and smooth vendor payments. Implement supplier feedback mechanisms to support continuous improvement and review contractor input. Engage with contractors regularly to share organizational expectations and understand supplier challenges. Conduct periodic evaluations of vendor performance to ensure quality and compliance. Experience and Qualifications 5–7 years of procurement and contracting experience.
