Sr Cloud Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to Google and AWS cloud. Your responsibilities will involve implementing and managing infrastructure solutions using public cloud technologies, with a strong focus on networking and devops. Responsibilities: - Implement and migrate infrastructure solutions to GCP and/or AWS. - Implement Kubernetes solutions on GCP and/or AWS. - Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.). - Integrate networking into CI/CD workflows and cloud-native deployments (Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, service mesh). - Design, implement, and manage cloud networking architectures (VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and interconnects). - Manage network security by implementing security measures such as firewalls, access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems to protect cloud-based resources from unauthorized access and cyber threats. - Communicate project status, challenges, and milestones effectively to internal and external stakeholders. - Provide post-migration support and optimization. - Mentor junior team members. - Manage and monitor cloud migration projects to ensure successful delivery. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Certifications: AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer or Cisco Certified Network Professional. - Hands-on experience with AWS services like VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Elastic Load Balancer (ALB, NLB), Route 53, EKS, etc. - Hands-on expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud networking (VPCs, routing, load balancing, firewalls). - Experience in diagnosing and resolving network-related problems, such as connectivity issues, configuration errors, and VM failures. - Proficiency in Python, Bash scripting programming language. - Hands-on experience with Container orchestration (EKS, Docker). - Expertise using DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub) to develop CI/CD pipelines. - Expertise in different IaC automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation). - Experience with Kubernetes networking (CNI, ingress, service mesh). - Excellent troubleshooting skills in Linux Administration and networking. - Mentored team members. - Skilled in time management and problem-solving. - Strong customer interfacing, stakeholder management, and escalation management skills.,
