Sr Backend Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at the FSD Product Development team in Hyderabad, your role will be crucial in building large-scale, cloud-based platforms to ensure timely and accurate data access. With over 5 years of experience in a computing environment and expertise in Java/J2EE/Spring technologies, you will be responsible for various tasks including: - Analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing programs in multiple programming languages. - Coding and maintaining advanced Java applications with a focus on data quality and performance scalability. - Supporting applications through system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting. - Designing and implementing features using cloud programming in AWS. - Supporting the migration of existing services to cloud technologies. - Resolving complex data, system, and software issues. - Working on strategic partner integrations, evaluating new platforms and technologies, and identifying areas for process improvement. To excel in this role, you are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, troubleshooting skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of microservices development, networking, security compliance, and scalability configurations is essential. Experience with tools like Bitbucket, GIT, RESTful web services, Java frameworks (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot), React JS, Docker, and cloud native development will be beneficial. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will also be expected to work 24/7 to support applications, mentor junior team members, and implement performance tuning and enhancements to existing systems. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for continuous learning and applying cutting-edge technologies are key attributes for success in this role. Nice to have skills for this position include experience with monitoring and logging tools like Dynatrace and Splunk, IAM products like Okta, API Management gateways like Apigee, and building automated pipelines for analytical processes.
