Embedded Systems Fundamentals Understanding of microcontrollers (NXP, STM32 or ESP32) Familiarity with memory architectures (Flash, RAM, EEPROM) 2. Firmware & Embedded Software Testing Experience testing firmware in real-time and resource-constrained environments Knowledge of testing techniques: black-box, white-box, gray-box testing Ability to test bare-metal as well as RTOS-based firmware 3. C/C++ Programming Proficient in reading, understanding, and debugging embedded C code 5. Debugging & Test Tools Familiarity with: Oscilloscopes Logic analyzers Multimeters JTAG/SWD debuggers Putty Wireshark 6. Documentation : Good in documentation and should be able keep tracks of Firmware version/ bugs 7. Optional : Understanding of Networking protocols like TCP, UDP and MQTT Experience with embedded IDEs (e.g., Keil, IAR, STM32CubeIDE) - optional Understanding of Microprocessors
