Sr. Backend Engineer

As a Senior Back-End Software Engineer specializing in server-side components, your primary responsibility will be working on technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, Python, Typescript, and Redis to build scalable products. Your expertise in algorithms and data structures will be crucial in architecting new features, refactoring existing code for scalability, and ensuring successful implementation in a live environment. In collaboration with front-end developers and team members, you will establish objectives and design cohesive codes to enhance user experience. Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable applications with a focus on asynchronous programming, low-latency, high-availability, and performance across multiple systems and environments. Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating data storage solutions, creating database schemas, and integrating multiple data sources into a unified system. Your responsibilities will also include building reusable code and libraries, exploring technical innovations, and proposing new solutions as needed. Working closely with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership, you will contribute to turning the product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a Tech Startup and a strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals. Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Python, TypeScript, along with basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 is essential. Hands-on experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Redis, AWS, and Sockets will be advantageous.
