Job Description

1. Test Strategy and Planning

Define and document test strategies, plans, and scenarios.
Create and manage test data, organize test runs, and prioritize automation candidates

2. Automation Framework Development

Design and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, UFT, LeanFT.
Implement Page Object Model (POM) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks for scalable testing

3. Script Development and Execution

Write and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and database testing.
Use tools such as RestAssured, Postman, and Appium for cross-platform validation

4. Integration and CI/CD

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
Ensure automated scripts support remote execution and modular reusability

5. Quality Governance

Conduct quality reviews of test scripts and frameworks.
Ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices

6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to identify issues and design solutions.
Provide demos and updates to management and stakeholders

7. AI and Copilot Integration

Leverage GitHub Copilot and custom VS Code extensions to generate and optimize test cases.
Automate end-to-end workflows across web, database, and API layers
