Role Description:
The AI Analyst role offers an exciting opportunity to join a nimble, innovative technology team supporting Amgens Law Department . In this role, youll serve as a point of contact for business partners, identifying areas where AI and automation can transform the way we work.
This role is highly hands-on and versatile ideal for someone who can wear multiple hats across AI analysis, automation, vendor evaluation, risk management, and data strategy. You will help shape business cases, conduct proofs of concept, and even configure/build low-code/no-code automation solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct AI risk assessments and architecture reviews

Support technical configuration and administration of AI platforms

Evaluate AI architectures and LLM offerings during RFP/RFI processes
-
Leverage internal AI capabilities (e.g. ChatGPT) to meet business needs

Interface with external AI suppliers and vendors
-
Design and execute POCs and pilots to test AI/automation use cases
-
Support the development of business cases to justify investment in new AI solutions
-
Partner with architects, product managers, and engineers to transition POCs into production
-
Lead automation initiatives and build low-code/no-code automations to streamline workflows
-
Identify opportunities for efficiency and implement data-driven solutions
-
Capture the voice of the customer to define business processes and product needs

Work with Product Managers and customers to define scope and value for new developments

Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to prioritize release scopes and refine the Product backlog

Ensure non-functional requirements are included and prioritized in the Product and Release Backlogs

Facilitate the breakdown of Epics into Features and Sprint-Sized User Stories and participate in backlog reviews with the development team

Clearly express features in User Stories/requirements so all team members and stakeholders understand how they fit into the product backlog

Ensure Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done are well-defined

Develop and execute effective product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders

Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and changes
Basic Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field AND
-
5+ years of relevant work experience
-
Experience in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Pharmacology/ Information Systems experience is an added advantage.
Functional Skills:

Experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum)

Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, and enterprise AI applications

Hands-on experience with automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, or equivalent low-code/no-code tools)
