Summary of Position:The eCommerce Test Expert will work closely with the Product Owner(s) and solution teams on defining User Story test criteria, authoring test cases, executing various phases of testing (dryrun, formal, regression, smoke and Sanity), and automating test cases whenever possible, with the goal of producing a high-quality solution and the best user experience possible for our customers.IT Business Systems Analysis work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including: Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices) Translating business requirements into application requirements.Key Responsibilities: Being part of SCRUM team taking responsibility of QA deliverables and Test artifacts that includes Test strategy, Testing scenarios, Test cases, Test execution result and End of test report Perform various phases of testing, including; unit, system, integration, regression and functional testing Create and track the bugs in Test management tools. Ensure the quality of deliverables. Experience in Internal and External Audit process. Execute formal/informal review cycles, testing sign-off. Manage eCommerce test environment and test data, as well as integrated systems test data Support UAT, hypercare, business go live testing to new markets Ability to multi-task and prioritize across multiple tasks at the same time QA lead experience to lead team. Collaborate with product owner and development team to understand the business and provide effective solutions Trusted colleague who can collaborate with multiple team members Ensure Agile User Stories contain appropriate acceptance criteria and regression testing requirements, prior to releasing into the backlog.Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of Functional testing experience (includes Web & native application, SAP, API, DB)Minimum 2+ years experience in eCommerce environment utilizing Agile development methodology. Minimum 2+ years experience in Atlassian toolsets (JIRA, Confluence) and Test management tools (HP ALM, qTest.. ect)Have an Idea of how the enterprise software ecosystem workHave an Idea of SDLC, STLC, Agile Methodology.Strong testing knowledge in drafting Test scenarios for Web application and API testingGood in handling Postman collections for API testing.Prefer experience in Tricentis Tosca Automated Testing softwarePrefer experience in Tricentis qTest Test Management software Prefer Cross-platform integration testing experiencePrefer at least 1 years experience in SAP Hybris eCommerce environmentSAP OTI (Order-to-Invoice) testing experience a plusEffective communication knowledge to interact with Business and stakeholders.Any Certification related to Agile, Supply Chain, Functional testing, and Tosca a plusSoft Skills:A flexible, analytical mind that can evaluate a problem 100 different ways.A clear, concise communication style that balances enough detail to communicate a problem to be actionable without going overboard.A burning desire to champion the user experience.Strong organization skills with attention to detail.A friendly team player.Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM ISTRelocation assistance: YesEmployment Scams: Alcon is aware of employment scams which make false use of our company name or leader s names to defraud job seekers.
