Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented resource to support the Manager Comp & Benefits in managing end-to-end statutory compliance, HR data operations, HR Audits and MIS reporting. This role requires the candidate to manage statutory compliances across various states, assist in query management, and provide support during audits, all while ensuring smooth operations for the HR team.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Compliance Management:

  • Manage end-to-end statutory compliance including liaising with department representatives (PF, ESIC, LWF, S&E, Professional Tax) as applicable across different states.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of relevant statutory reports and filings.
  • Keep abreast of the latest regulatory changes and ensure compliance with them.

HR Data Operations And MIS Reporting

  • Support the HR team by managing HR data operations, including data entry, verification, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare and manage regular MIS reports to help the HR team with decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in HRMS and related systems.

Query Management And Resolution

  • Act as a point of contact for resolving day-to-day queries related to payroll and statutory compliance from employees and other internal stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding payroll, benefits, and statutory deductions to employees.

Audit Support

  • Assist the Head of Compensation & Benefits in preparing for audits, including gathering necessary documents, reports, and compliance records.
  • Ensure that all statutory audits are conducted smoothly and in compliance with relevant regulations.

HRMS And Ad-hoc Projects

  • Assist in the management of Statutory HRMS systems to ensure accurate payroll data processing.
  • Support the Head of Payroll with ad-hoc projects related to statutory compliance and process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in payroll management, statutory compliance, and HR data management.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, LWF, Professional Tax, etc.).
  • Good understanding of Statutory Compliance and HRMS tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and MIS management.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and government departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
