Sr. Accountant

DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / CMA preferred).

2. 5–8 years of experience in Accounting preferably in the Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas sector.

3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.

4. Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office.

5. Good understanding of project cost tracking in marine/offshore operations.

6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-

1. Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements in accordance with accounting standards.

2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

3. Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management.

4. Manage payroll processing, statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, GST), and other compliance requirements.

5. Prepare budgets, track expenses, and monitor project cost control for marine & offshore projects.

6. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external agencies for audits and filings.
