The estimation engineer will be tasked with analyzing requirements, tendered documents, existing budgets and submission of tenders. To be successful as an Estimation Engineer you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. Outstanding estimators are not only great at analyzing costs, but they also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome. Location : Pune (WFO) Responsibilities: Review MEP design plans, specifications, and technical documents to comprehend project requirements and scope. Identify and quantify materials, equipment, labor, and other resources needed for MEP installations. Preparation of BOQ accordingly. Utilize industry knowledge and databases to determine current market prices for MEP materials, equipment, and services. Calculate precise cost estimates for MEP systems, considering all expenses, including direct and indirect costs. Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, clearly delineating cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and contingencies. Maintain meticulous records of cost data, vendor quotes, and reference materials. Collaborate closely with MEP engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure alignment between cost estimates and project plans. Provide valuable insights on cost-related aspects during project meetings and discussions. Participate in value engineering initiatives to identify cost-effective alternatives and innovative solutions while maintaining MEP system performance. Assist in creating tender documents, including thorough cost estimates and MEP-related bid proposals. Analyze bid submissions and contribute insights on competitiveness and alignment with project requirements. Stay updated on MEP technologies, industry trends, and market conditions that might impact cost estimation accuracy. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of estimation processes and tools. Evaluate potential risks linked to MEP installations that could affect project costs, and offer recommendations for risk mitigation. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: BE/BTech in Electrical preferred or Mechanical . Diplomas will not be considered. Experienced in between 3 to 7 years in same field or mostly from construction background Experience in estimation of projects in India or Overseas Excellent Communication skill. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Essentials : 1. Educational Background: BCom/MCom/MBA with a focus on Commerce/Finance. 2. Professional Experience: 2-4 years in a similar field. 3. Hands-on experience in Basic Accounting, Taxation, P&L Accounting, Accounts Finalization, and a strong understanding of accounting concepts. 4. Excellent presentation skills. 5.
