Sr. Accountant

Role Overview: As an Accounting Assistant, your role involves assisting in preparing financial statements, reports, and records. You will be responsible for recording and reconciling daily transactions in accounting software, as well as aiding in bank reconciliations and maintaining financial documentation. Supporting tax filings, GST, and TDS calculations will also be part of your key responsibilities. Ensuring accurate ledger entries and journal postings, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies are crucial tasks you will handle. Key Responsibilities: - Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the ledger - Prepare basic financial statements, such as income statement and balance sheet - Reconcile various accounts, including bank statements and general ledger accounts - Monitor and track business expenses, generate, and send invoices - Assist in and ensure compliance with tax returns - Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in accounting (Masters preferred) - 6+ years of working experience in accounting - Advanced knowledge of Excel - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
