Jr. Accountant

You will be responsible for managing accounts which includes processing invoices, bills, and purchase orders. Additionally, you will be tasked with reconciling bank statements and resolving any financial discrepancies. In the realm of General Ledger and Bookkeeping, your duties will involve posting journal entries and ensuring accurate record-keeping, as well as assisting in maintaining the general ledger. For Inventory and Cost Accounting, you will be expected to monitor inventory levels, assist in inventory audits, and provide support for cost analysis and reporting related to raw materials and production processes. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with at least 12 years of experience in accounting or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Technical skills required for this role include proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems, a strong knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools, and a basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations. Key attributes that will contribute to your success in this role include attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication and interpersonal abilities. You will also be involved in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The preferred educational qualification is a Bachelor's degree, and preferred experience includes at least 1 year in accounting, Tally, and overall work experience.
