SQL Develope

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases and related processes. This project focuses on enhancing our data infrastructure and ensuring data integrity and performance for a critical business application.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Develop and maintain efficient and scalable database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize complex queries and database performance to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
• Data Integration: Create and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar tools to ensure seamless data flow.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, data discrepancies, and system errors.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and software developers to understand project requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for all database processes, schemas, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a SQL Developer.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL) or other SQL dialects.
• Strong experience with SQL Server database administration and development.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools like SSIS.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
