Job Title:

SQL Database Administrator with NoSQL

Experience:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning, backups, restores, replication, and disaster recovery
  • Strong experience in T-SQL scripting, query optimization, and indexing strategies
  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Couchbase, including N1QL queries, XDCR, and backup/restore operations
  • Understanding of NoSQL concepts, document modeling, and distributed architecture
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for both SQL Server and Couchbase
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted database services (e.g., Azure SQL, Couchbase Cloud)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments
  • Experience with scripting using PowerShell, Python, or similar for automation
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes for Couchbase
