Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, configuration, and deployment of Splunk solutions for monitoring and analyzing data across the organization.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud.
• Design, implement, and optimize Splunk searches, dashboards, alerts, and reports to support business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the effective integration of Splunk with other tools and systems.
• Manage and mentor a team of Splunk engineers, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Splunk environments, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in Splunk technologies and security.
• Implement Splunk-based solutions for security monitoring, data analysis, and log aggregation.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, security policies, and best practices for Splunk configuration and data handling.
• Prepare and present detailed technical documentation, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Participate in capacity planning, system scaling, and performance tuning activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Any Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Splunk implementation, configuration, and administration.
• Strong expertise in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL), dashboard creation, and advanced reporting.
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) is a plus.
• Proficient in data ingestion, data normalization, and integrating external data sources with Splunk.
• In-depth knowledge of Splunk architecture, cluster management, and scaling.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed Splunk environments.
• Strong understanding of log management, monitoring, and data analytics concepts.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively, with a strong focus on mentoring and coaching.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Splunk Certified Admin or Splunk Certified Architect certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) to automate tasks and enhance Splunk functionality.
• Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role within a technical team.
