Job Description

Platform Administration

Maintain and optimize configurations for data sources, detectors, and service groups .
Implement governance and best practices for data ingestion, retention, and access control.

Dashboarding Visualization

Design and build custom dashboards using SignalFlow, charts, and detectors for real-time performance monitoring.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to deliver meaningful visualization of metrics, traces, and logs.
Optimize dashboard performance and usability to drive faster root-cause analysis and reporting.

Alerting Incident Management

Configure and fine-tune alerts, detectors, and thresholds to minimize noise and enhance signal quality.
Develop and manage incident workflows , escalation policies, and notification rules.
Integrate Splunk Observability with ServiceNow to streamline incident response.

Qualifications

Required:

2 4 years of experience in Splunk Observability Cloud ,
Proven experience managing dashboards, and alerting configurations .
Hands-on experience integrating Splunk Observability with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Experience with SignalFlow scripting and advanced charting configurations.
Experience with OpenTelemetry for data instrumentation and collection.

Preferred:

Basic knowledge of Python, Bash, or REST APIs for automation.
Splunk certification ( Splunk Observability Cloud Certified Admin ) is a plus
