Job Description




Key Responsibilities



  • Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure and on-prem setups.

  • Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot system issues; perform root cause analysis.

  • Configure and troubleshoot load balancers (Nginx experience is a plus).

  • Handle networking issues including routing, connectivity, and VPN troubleshooting.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to internal teams and document technical knowledge.

  • Ensure application log backup, maintenance, and analysis.

  • Support microservice architecture deployments and high-traffic international systems.

  • Implement monitoring solutions using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc








Requirements



  • Experience:

    6 8 years as a DevOps/System Engineer.

  • Proficient in

    Python

    and testing best practices.

  • Strong experience with

    AWS services

    (EC2, ECS, EKS, ECR, R53, SES, Elasticache, RDS, Redshift, CloudFormation, etc.).

  • Expertise in

    automation tools

    (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).

  • Hands-on experience with

    containers

    (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis, Drone, Mule, Spinnaker).

  • Solid understanding of

    networking concepts

    (DNS, SSL, Git, Firewalls, VPC, subnetting, VPNs).

  • Knowledge of software security best practices.

  • Experience with monitoring tools (PagerDuty, CloudWatch, Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Icinga).

  • Exposure to large-scale, service-oriented systems.





Good to Have



  • AWS Solution Architect / Professional Certification.

  • Experience with distributed systems, databases (SQL, NoSQL), stream-processing (Kafka), message-queuing (RabbitMQ), and analytics platforms (ELK).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Passion for learning and implementing new open-source technologies.
