RoleDescription: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, youwill lead the automation of the entire application development lifecycle byapplying CI\/CD\-first principles to accelerate development and release cycles onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP). You will architect and implement scalable, secure,and highly available cloud infrastructure using Google\best practices. Youwill be responsible for designing advanced monitoring and observabilityframeworks for automated system health checks and will collaborate closely withengineering leaders to establish Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practicesand modern IT Operations.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including GKE(Google Kubernetes Engine), Compute Engine, Cloud Run, and VPC networking.

CI\/CD Leadership: Expert experience designing and implementing complex CI\/CD pipelines usingGoogle Cloud Build, GitLab CI, or Jenkins to automate multi\-environmentdeployments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure usingTerraform (GCP Provider) or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.

Containerization &Orchestration: Mastery of Docker and Kubernetes(GKE), including experience with service meshes (e.g., Istio) and containersecurity.

Automation & Scripting: Expert\-level proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automating cloud operationsand custom tooling.

Configuration Management: Proven experience implementing configuration management at scale using toolssuch as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Observability: Hands\-on experience setting up enterprise\-level monitoring, logging, andtracing using Google Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver), Prometheus,or Grafana.

Server Administration: Strong demonstrated experience in Linux (RedHat\/Ubuntu) and Windows serveradministration within a cloud context.

Security & Compliance: Knowledge of GCP security best practices, including IAM (Identity and AccessManagement), Cloud Armor, and managing Shared VPCs, firewalls, and loadbalancers.

Process & Methodology: Thorough working knowledge of ITIL best practices (Incident, Problem, andChange Management) and Agile methodologies (Scrum\/Kanban).

Collaboration: Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with product anddevelopment teams to architect automated, resilient IT infrastructuresolutions.

Hybrid Cloud: Experience with Anthos or VMware Engine for managing hybrid\-cloud ormulti\-cloud virtualization environments is a plus.
