Our Orthopaedics Department Is Now One Of The Largest Arthroplasty Units In Europe, With 2 Robots, PerformingOver 6,000 hip and knee replacements annually600 foot and ankle procedures420 hand surgeriesNearly 200 other orthopaedic operations (STK / ACL)In addition, we carry out more than 1,000 general and colorectal surgeries each year, including major open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted procedures.We’ve recently opened a state-of-the-art Surgical Centre, featuring five new laminar flow theatres, significantly expanding our elective capacity.

As a Specialty Doctor In Anaesthesia, You Will

Provide anaesthesia for orthopaedics and general surgerySupport the Acute Pain Service (APS)Contribute to the Orthopaedic Pre-operative Assessment ClinicOpportunity to engage in Quality Improvement and Clinical Audit projectsGain valuable experience and professional development opportunities to support your career progression in the specialty.The applicant will hold full GMC registration and have wide experience working within anaesthesia.
