Job Description

Specialist SAP Architect

Roles & Responsibilities

Solution Architecture:
Architect, design, and configure
SAP S/4HANA
and
Thomson Reuters Direct Tax
solutions to meet business requirements and comply with local and international tax regulations.
Module Integration:
Ensure flawless integration of tax solutions with relevant SAP modules, including
Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM)
.
Collaboration & Requirements:
Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring solutions align with business goals and leading practices.
Agile Development:
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within a
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
to deliver and maintain the S/4HANA ecosystem.
Risk & Innovation:
Conduct architectural reviews to identify risks and recommend mitigations. Develop innovative solutions using
AI/ML
to drive speed and value.

Qualifications

A Master's degree with relevant SAP experience, or a Bachelor's degree with more experience, or a Diploma with extensive experience.
Proven experience in implementing
SAP S/4HANA
and
Thomson Reuters Determination
, with a focus on direct tax solutions.
In-depth knowledge of
corporate income tax, operational transfer pricing
, and state income taxation.
Proficiency in
SAP Advanced Intercompany, SAP Material Ledger
, and optimized transfer pricing setup.
Familiarity with
SAP Document & Reporting Compliance
and
SAP Profitability and Performance Management
is a plus.
Experience working in an
Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
.
A
CPA
or
SAP S/4HANA certification
is preferred.
