Description
As an Assistant Manager HRBP, you play a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated departments. Your key responsibilities include: - Acting as the primary HR point of contact for the assigned department/team. - Ensuring smooth execution of HR processes including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits. - Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data for all workforce categories (FTE, FTC, shopfloor, contract). - Facilitating induction and orientation programs for new joiners. - Monitoring probation and confirmation processes, ensuring timely feedback and documentation. - Supporting career progression, internal mobility, and succession planning initiatives. - Collaborating with the Employee Engagement Specialist to drive engagement initiatives. - Conducting skip-level meetings, pulse surveys, and feedback sessions. - Addressing employee grievances and escalating complex issues to DGM-HRBP. - Coordinating goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals for the assigned team. - Supporting managers in conducting performance conversations and managing underperformance. - Ensuring timely closure of performance documentation and calibration processes. - Ensuring adherence to labor laws, company policies, and code of conduct. - Monitoring contractor workforce practices in collaboration with vendor management teams. - Conducting audits and checks to ensure compliance in attendance, leave, and wage practices. - Preparing and sharing periodic HR dashboards and reports (e.g., attrition, headcount, engagement scores). - Analyzing trends and providing insights to DGM-HRBP for strategic decision-making. - Maintaining MIS for HR operations and workforce metrics. - Identifying training needs in collaboration with line managers and L&D team. - Coordinating functional and behavioral training programs for the assigned team. - Tracking training effectiveness and participation across workforce categories. - Supporting IR initiatives and maintaining harmonious relations with shopfloor employees. - Participating in welfare committee meetings and grievance redressal forums. - Ensuring visibility and approachability on the shopfloor through regular interactions. - Contributing to plant-wide HR initiatives such as DEI, digitization, and wellness programs. - Supporting implementation of new HR systems, policies, and change management efforts. - Driving special projects assigned by DGM-HRBP. - Partnering with line managers, supervisors to resolve HR issues. - Liaising with central HR teams (C&B, TA, L&D) for specialized support. - Ensuring timely communication and alignment with plant leadership. Qualifications Required: - MBA in HR - 3 to 7 years of experience in HRBP or related HR roles - Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and employee engagement - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive initiatives independently Please note that the job description does not include any additional details about the company.,
