Specialist - Forwarding Operations - Global Service Centre

Role Overview: DP World Global Service Centre is looking for a Freight Forwarding GSC Operator to join their team in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai. As a Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely tracking and delivery. You will be the primary point of contact for CSO operators regarding their shipments and will handle inquiries related to shipping and delivery issues. Key Responsibility: - Plan and coordinate the movement of freight across various modes of transport (Ocean, Air, Road). - Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required shipment documents. - Work closely with carriers, terminals, and internal departments to track shipments and provide updates. - Handle branch office inquiries and concerns related to shipping and delivery. - Prepare and maintain import/export documents and ensure customs compliances. - Assess and mitigate risks in the transportation process. - Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with region-specific KPIs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in any discipline. - 4-5 years of direct experience in Freight Forwarding or logistics industry. - Knowledge of customs filing procedures and shipping documentation. - Familiarity with logistics or freight forwarding applications. - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office tools. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive mindset.,
