Job Description

As an Environmental Health and Safety Officer at NTT DATA, you play a crucial role in implementing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies to ensure a safe work environment and prevent harm, injury, and illness. You collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address hazardous conditions, manage risks, and develop control measures. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting surveys and assessments to identify and eliminate hazardous conditions - Investigating working conditions, determining causes of incidents, and recommending preventive actions - Providing advice on compliance with EHS laws and regulations - Conducting risk assessments and audits to mitigate organizational liability - Providing health and safety orientation for new employees - Delivering safety training and education programs for existing employees - Coordinating and attending committee meetings - Collaborating with external stakeholders to develop emergency response plans - Acting as an evacuation marshal, fire marshal, or incident coordinator - Performing other EHS activities as required To excel in this role, you should have: - Good knowledge of laws and regulations related to environment, health, and safety - Specialization in the EHS field - Strong influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills - Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities - Attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders - Conflict resolution skills Academic qualifications and certifications required: - Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field - Health, Safety, and Environmental certification(s) Experience needed: - Demonstrated experience in environmental health and safety in a related industry - Experience in stakeholder management and decision-making influence - Knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, codes, and standards This is an on-site working position at NTT DATA, an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion.,
