Job Summary:Chitkara International School is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team for both Panchkula and Chandigarh Location.

Required Experience:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Assess students' skills and learning requirements to provide personalized learning experiences.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
• Monitor and report on students' progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
• Provide support and guidance to classroom assistants and other support staff.
• Stay updated with the latest educational practices, tools, and resources in special education.
• Conduct regular assessments and adjust teaching strategies based on students’ performance and feedback.
• Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes students' social, emotional, and academic growth.

Qualifications:

• B.Ed. or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Proven experience working with students with special needs.
• Strong understanding of diverse learning disabilities and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, parents, and support staff.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.
